After your test sample arrives at the lab, expect PCR results in 1–3 business days and your full metagenomics results in about 7–10 business days.Once your results are ready, you’ll receive them along with a diagnosis (if applicable).
If you’re eligible for care, (e.g., you need a prescription or treatment), you’ll also get an email letting you know. Your My Plan and Care pages will display all available treatment options, with clear links on treatment options to help you with the next steps.
You have the option to book a free call with a coach to discuss your results and treatment options, but this is completely optional. Coaches are not clinicians, so they can’t provide medical advice. Their role is to educate you on your options, not to prescribe treatment. You will not speak directly with a doctor before purchasing care, our clinicians work asynchronously so we can keep your costs lower.
When you purchase care, you’ll complete a clinical intake form to note any preferences or allergies.

If your results show an infection, your Care page will display:
A full treatment plan (available for 3 weeks, to ensure your vaginal microbiome hasn’t shifted significantly)
Individual treatments (“à la carte” style), everything except antibiotics, antifungals, and vaginal estrogen can be purchased for up to 1 year.
