Why You May Receive a UTI Diagnosis Through Evvy but Not Be Eligible for Evvy Treatment

We know how frustrating it can feel to finally get clarity about what’s going on—only to learn that you aren’t eligible for treatment through Evvy. You deserve care that is safe, evidence-based, and tailored to you, so we want to be transparent about why this can happen.

There are a few reasons a clinician may diagnose you with a UTI based on your Evvy UTI+ Test results, but you may not be eligible to get UTI treatment through Evvy — reasons include:

  • Your geographic location: Evvy UTI Clinical Care is not available (yet!) in all 50 states

  • Your Evvy-affiliated clinician recommends in-person evaluation: Based on your symptoms and health history, your clinician may determine that an in-person physical exam is necessary to provide safe, accurate, and effective care. For your safety and the best clinical outcomes, please seek in-person care.

You Still Have Clear Next Steps—Here’s What to Do

Every Evvy UTI+ Test includes guidance on which antibiotic and/or antifungal a clinician would typically consider based on microbial susceptibility patterns. While that information alone is not a prescription, it can be incredibly helpful as you seek care outside Evvy.

To make things easier, here are a few trusted partners that offer access to clinicians who prescribe the medications commonly recommended by Evvy-affiliated providers—available in all 50 states:
