Our Evvy Coaches are here to support you and be a listening ear during your Evvy experience. Consider them your vaginal microbiome BFF’s who can help you navigate your results and support you along the way! We know how challenging (and oftentimes isolating) vaginal health issues can be, and we want you to know you’re not alone on this path. Our coaches can provide guidance, general information, and emotional support within a health coach’s scope of practice.
Please note: Health Coaches are not doctors or RNs and cannot provide specific medical advice or give you prescriptive recommendations. They cannot diagnose you with any medical conditions, advise you on individualized treatments, or answer personal medical questions (including those related to your personal medical care).
Plan to take notes during your health coaching call, as we cannot provide a written summary of what is discussed.
Health coaches can:
Listen to your experience - you are not alone!
Help you understand your results
Provide general information on the vaginal microbiome
Offer information to empower you to make informed choices
Collaborate with you to understand your options
Provide additional resources and scientific literature for you to review
Give resources on where to find more information on vaginal-adjacent topics (ie. UTIs, hormones, menopause, etc.).
Our health coaches are here to support you during your journey, but legally they cannot provide medical advice. Your health coach can provide you with information on what questions to ask your provider or how to contact a medical professional for questions they cannot answer.
Health coaches CANNOT:
Diagnose you with any medical conditions (vaginal or otherwise)
Advise on medication or supplement doses and/or durations (unless you are enrolled in Clinical Care through Evvy and have a treatment plan prescribed by an Evvy provider)
Interpret lab tests or medical records
Give any specific medical advice unless it’s been pre-approved by a licensed provider
Answer questions that are outside of a health coach’s scope of practice
Talk directly to an outside medical provider - we recommend you bring your Evvy results with you to any medical appointments
