What does my patient need to avoid before taking the test?

Patients should avoid testing while menstruating, as well as if they have had sex, used an oral antifungal, vaginal suppositories, or vulvar topical cream in the last 24-48 hours, or taken antibiotics within the last 7 days. These guidelines can also be found in the test kit's instruction booklet.
