Please note: Evvy's Vaginal Health Test and Clinical Care are eligible for HSA / FSA for US customers, and we see the majority of people able to use their HSA / FSA card or get reimbursement following the below instructions. However, since every insurance plan is different, we cannot guarantee reimbursement.
Checking out with a single order (Evvy Vaginal Health Test, Evvy Complete Rx Treatment Program)
Once an item has been added to cart, proceed to checkout, where Truemed will populate as a payment option (See below)
After clicking pay now, you will be redirected to complete TrueMed’s clinical intake form and then enter payment details. You can use your HSA or FSA card for payment, or a credit or debit card.
Please note if you are using this for Rx treatments: There will be a separate clinical intake form required by the Evvy-affiliated provider to prescribe the medication. Please ensure that you complete both the TrueMed intake form during payment, and the Evvy clinical intake form after payment. Your order will not be able to be processed until both are completed.
Checking out with a subscription (Evvy Vaginal Health Test membership)
For subscriptions, you can submit your Evvy receipts to Truemed for reimbursement.
After completing payment, you will see an option to “Use your HSA / FSA on This Order” on the order confirmation page, or at the bottom of your order confirmation email. You will then be prompted to fill out a quick HSA / FSA clinical intake form with TrueMed.
TrueMed will prompt you to upload your receipt, answer a few questions about your health circumstances, and then you’ll be matched with a TrueMed-affiliated provider to determine your eligibility. If you qualify, you’ll get a Letter of Medical Necessity, which will allow you to use your HSA or FSA funds to complete your purchase — because health and wellness should be accessible.
Once you have a Letter of Medical Necessity for purchasing your subscription, you do not need to complete Truemed’s survey again so long as your Letter of Medical Necessity remains valid. Letters of Medical Necessity are typically valid for 12 months after they are first issued. You do still need to submit your receipts for reimbursement with your HSA/FSA administrator.
How long does HSA or FSA reimbursement take?
For most FSA/HSA administrators, your expenses will be approved within days when you submit your claim for reimbursement along with your receipt and a Letter of Medical Necessity. The exact timing will vary based on your administrator.
I don’t have enough funds in my HSA/FSA account to reimburse the entire purchase. Can I still use Truemed?
Yes. You can still submit for partial reimbursement. For example: if you purchase an eligible item for $100 but only have $60 in your account, you can reimburse $60 of your purchase with your tax-free funds (with the remaining $40 paid for as normal).
What if my reimbursement is rejected by my administrator?
Please contact TrueMed at support@truemed.com so they can help you troubleshoot the issue. HSA/FSA plan administrators often have detailed requirements, so it may be as simple as re-issuing your Letter of Medical Necessity using the administrator’s form.
I am not seeing TrueMed as an option when I’m checking out - what do I do?
When you're checking out, make sure you do so as a guest (scroll down to the bottom of the checkout page and select “Checkout as a guest”. You should then see and be able to select the payment option 'TrueMed - Pay with HSA/FSA'.
I already placed my order - can I still get information to submit to my HSA / FSA administrator for reimbursement?
If your order was placed before March 20, 2025 and you need documentation to submit for reimbursement, and you purchased a:
Vaginal Health Test: Your order confirmation email can serve as an itemized receipt for HSA/FSA reimbursement for the Evvy Vaginal Health Test (single or membership).
Rx Treatments: If you need an itemized receipt for HSA or FSA reimbursement, please reach out to us for further assistance. Please note that at this time, Evvy-affiliated providers are unable to complete any additional forms on your behalf that may be required by your HSA / FSA for reimbursement.
If your order was placed on or after March 20, 2025 and you need documentation to submit for reimbursement, please go to the link at the bottom of your order confirmation email that says “For additional HSA/FSA reimbursement support, please visit this link to see if your order qualifies.”
